1. PMMA diffuser board has good weather resistance. It is generally used indoors. It is guaranteed that it will not turn yellow and be inconvenient and brittle within three or five years (in the accelerated ultraviolet aging test, it is not easy to yellow), and it has good high temperature performance.
 
2. The PMMA diffuser has good printability and sprayability. The use of appropriate printing and spraying techniques can give acrylic products an ideal surface decoration effect.
 
3. Flammability: non-self-igniting and self-extinguishing.
 
4. High dimensional stability: small water-absorbing warpage and excellent dimensional stability.
 
5. Excellent quality assurance: can pass UL-94 and RoHS banned poison test.
 

The specific advantages of PMMA diffuser applied to flat lights are as follows:
 
1. The processing cost is low, and the PMMA diffuser plate is easy to process and shape, and it can be physically and mechanically cut. At the same time, it can be laser cut or blow molded, blister and other thermoforming methods. Therefore, in the early flat lamp production, PMMA plates are also more commonly used.
 
2. The screen printing effect is very good, with excellent ink adsorption and adhesion. Flat-panel lights are generally monotonous. Now many manufacturers like to silk-print their own logos and electrical parameters of the lights on the flat-panel lights, as wellas various decorative pictures, so if the customer needs a large area of silk-screen printing, of course it is acrylic.
 
3. The light transmittance of PMMA diffuser can reach about 90%, but if you consider its ultra-high light transmittance alone, it will also bring trouble to it. It is well known that flat panel lights are multiplying by backlight, and there are also requirements for their flat debris. Because of the strong light transmission, it is easy to cause bright spots, light guide plate net patterns, and visible flaws, so it is easy to cause problems such as bright spots, light guide plate netting,
and visible flaws if they are not selectedproperly. At the same time, the light transmittance and haze value must be balanced.


 
4. The impact resistance is worse than PC, but much higher than PS material.
