Why Choose LEDs
Why Choose LEDs?
At the moment there is no light source that can compete with the efficiency of an LED = light emitting diode!
LED lamps are used in places where other lights are not used, as fire protection regulations speak against them. An LED generates little heat and does not emit any IR or UV radiation. This means that these lamps can be used in pharmacies or food counters, for example.
For some areas, the insensitivity to vibrations, the enormous flexibility and the good workmanship are important reasons why the LED is used. In particular, LED light sources are used more and more frequently to illuminate streets, shop windows and also in the automotive industry, and this is only a selection of areas and applications. Of course, the LED is also used as a light source in apartments and shops to illuminate or to set specific accents in the center.
A major advantage is that the LED emits full light from the first second and has no delay.
What everyone likes to talk about is the enormous power savings of more than 50% compared to conventional
light sources.
